Fall fun with Grammy and Pappy Beall

Dilan's Grammy and Pappy have been visiting Montana for a couple of months and Dilan is having the greatest time! He gets to stay with them instead of going to daycare, and gets all the one-on-one attention!

Dilan has been enjoying feeding the horses, they are right outside Grammy and Pappy's house!

A Visit to the Pumpkin Patch!

This past weekend, Grammie Beall, Pappy Beall, and Mommy took Dilan to the Pumpkin Patch in Missoula! Dilan had a great time picking out his pumpkins, and even more fun helping mommy cut them! Dilan is going to be a giraffe this year, so we will be sure to post lots of pictures! Happy Halloween!

Huckleberries and Hiking!

We have spent the last couple of weekends hiking and picking huckleberries before school starts. This first picture, Dilan is watching Daddy go "potty" and decided he should do the same! He is almost potty trained...we are hoping that when Grandma and Pappy come out we will be all out of diapers! Yea!

On our hike to Morrell Falls. Dilan walked part of the 2.5 miles, and Scott and I carried him the rest of the way in the pack, he just loves being outside!

4th of July in Seeley Lake, MT

We had a great 4th of July weekend, we went hiking as a family, Dilan and I went to the parade, and spent the evening with great friends! Here's to another 4th of July in Seeley Lake, MT!

Trip to Helena, MT!

We took a rainy drive over to Helena, MT this Memorial Day weekend. We planned on going to the Exploration Works museum which their website and answering machine said they were open on Sunday, but we got there and were quickly disappointed to see they changed their hours and were closed on Sunday! But we made the best of it, and saw some statues, and went on the carousel! Dilan is getting so big and sat on the horses all by himself! I sat next to him for one ride, and asked him to hold my hand!

Vacation to Michigan over Spring Break!

2nd Birthday Celebration!

It is so hard to believe that our little boy is 2!!! Gramma Courtney was here to celebrate with us, and it was a fun filled day! We took him to his 2 year appointment, and the doctor said everything looked great, and he was growing just as scheduled. Then he got a haircut, and off to the pool! He splashed and swam and had a great time! This year we got him a tent, and put all of his wrapped presents in the tent, and some Elmo balloons so he was really surprised when he walked in the door. He blew out his candles with the help of his daddy, and slept great from all the excitement! We love our little boy so much and look forward to all the birthdays to come!

Dilan's 2nd birthday celebration at the daycare!

We decided for Dilan's 2nd birthday that he wasn't quite ready for a party, so we decided to take cupcakes to the daycare and celebrates with his friends. Mommy chose an Elmo birthday theme because right now he loves Elmo. He didn't know what to think since we were bringing him to the daycare in the middle of the afternoon. He gave all the kids party hats, and a cupcake and they devoured them. He just sat and looked around trying to figure everything out. He never did eat his cupcake, but had a great time. We have lots more pictures but I am sure all the moms out there would understand we are not going to post them since they have other kids in them, but here are a few of the cute ones!

"The Digger"

Dilan got the coolest gift for his birthday from his Uncle Greg, Aunt Kimberly, and cousin Macy, which we are calling "The Digger"! The only thing Dilan has found wrong with it, is it doesn't have a place for his snack cup! He spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to keep his snacks on it, but once we showed him how to "dig" he has been having a blast!

First battle with pink eye!!

Dilan got pink eye, probably from someone at daycare, since several kids at the elementary had it...they tested him for strep throat and at first it came back negative, but they cultured it and indeed he did have it. Poor guy, but he is doing much better!

Painting fun

Dilan had his first opportunity to paint and didn't manage to get any on the couch or floor! He had so much fun, and wants to paint all the time now!

Fun family day in Helena, MT!

What a fun day! Scott suggested that we drive to Helena, about 2 hours away. We went and had lunch then took Dilan to the carousel. Dilan and I rode twice, Scott decided that it might make him sick. Dilan picked the ram to ride on first, then the trout. He did so good, and you could tell he was so proud of himself! He is getting to be such a big boy. We then had some ice cream and watched the other kids on the carousel. We thought he would like raspberry, but he decided he liked mommy's mint chocolate chip better! Such a mommy's boy. We had a beautiful ride home, it was sunny and clear. Thanks to daddy for the good idea!
